The PO of my '75 FJ40 did a good job of not hacking things up except for the tail lights. Looks like the originals were busted and they wired in some trailer lights or something. There's 4 round trailer lights, one each side for turn signal and one each for brakes. No reverse lights. I want to put the original style lights back in and found the wiring harness plug on the passenger side just above the wheel well. Is there anywhere I can buy this harness that will plug in and wire to original style tail lights? There's a lot of wire splices and stuff behind this and wires that end up going nowhere. I would just like to order new original lights and do a simple plug and play install if possible... (The black tubing is for my rear speakers)
This is right behind the rear bumper in the middle by the trailer hitch. Not really sure where these are supposed to go or what they do. My turn signals, brake lights, and driving lights all work. Just not the reverse lights...
