I had quoted line-x a while ago and thought it was overpriced for just shooting a sprayable over prepared metal. I guess I would have been able to blame someone else if it turned out like crap though. I am pretty cheap if I think I can do it myself. What I was really trying to do with the bed liner is bury all the seams and spot-welds with minimal effort. Now I'll just have to sand more and use seam sealer.Line-x is absolutely brute strength quality bed liner. I had my underside done to the engine side of the firewall. I payed $500. I did all the prep work. Perhaps they can shoot you a sample. If it's a satisfactory match and you give the go-ahead your rigs next owner will locked in to red as the color. I also like the fact I can hose my 40 out or let it sit in the rain and no worry about rust.
In my opinion mats over paint trap moisture.
