1994 Fzj80- $5000
1993 dodge cummins w250 - $5000
OR BEST OFFER.
I won't sell the dodge until the Toyota is gone. I need it to get to work currently, and will use it for my move if it doesn't sell. Both vehicles just had their registration renewed for a year.
I will consider a trade for a 4 door pickup, and I have cash if needed.
For sale is my one toyota land cruiser fzj80, that's definitely unique. People stop and talk to me daily about this rig. Seriously, if you dont want attention, this is not the rig for you.
It's currently registered, smogged, and legal in California.
If you know the fzj80, you know the drivetrain is completely overbuilt, and insanely reliable, so ive left it stock. Motor was extensively gone through at 200k and any questionable parts were replaced with new OEM. Head gasket machined and resealed as well. Over $3000 of work done by the awesome guys at SD Trux. I have reciepts. I expect this rig to run for another 200k without problems. I drive it almost daily, and it has never let me down.
Its about 4-5" over stock, and currently sits on 37" x-terrains. Coils on all four corners. 5 link in rear, control arm setup in front. Lots of flex.
I wanted something simple, and reliable, so I have removed some of the bells and whistles I thought were unnecessary, including the sunroof, rear heater, abs, e brake, and a few other items. The abs, and ebrake could be reinstalled if desired, and i have the parts to do so.
The entire interior was coated with 2 coats of magnet paints chassis saver, and the whole floor was then coated in monstaliner. I reinstalled the OEM carpet for sound absorption, and comfort. Carpet can be pulled easily for clean up. It has racing seats front and rear.
I bobbed, and then hand built the whole rear end from scratch, with larger wheel wells, and the "fast back" design. Outer wells have been heavily trimmed to run the tires with minimal lift. It can probably run 39's. Front fenders have also be trimmed. Body is rust free, and straight except for the rear fenders. They seems to attract rocks, which is why I bobbed the rig in the first place. Ive always just hammered them straight, and put a coat of paint on them. They could be filled and smoothed very easily.
I am not a professional fabricator, and the rig isn't perfect, but its solid and looks good. I was going to get a piece of vinyl with a window sewn in, and screw some snaps into the rear to cover the opening, but living in SoCal, I never got around to it.
Axles are stock, with 4:11 gears. It has the factory lockers, but the wiring was missing when I bought it, and I have never got around to fixing them, this always performed very well, even without lockers. Everyone is always surprised how well this thing wheels.
Custom Ironclad Offroad front bumper, brand new White Knuckle sliders. Custom high clearance exhaust, And I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff.
Comes with some spare parts, like brand new front 5" coils, extra lower control arms, etc.
I was planning on swapping to one tons, relocate the tail lights, and comp cut the rear fenders for 42's. work/life has rearranged those plans.
I have put countless hours and sweat into making this into something totally unique, that oerforms well, and it still fun and safe to drive on the street. It runs great, and has a stereo and AC!
It's ready to go as is, but rear seat belts need to be installed, I planned on attatching them to the cage that was going to be built. I never got around to tidying up the factory wiring to the rear after I bobbed it and removed many of the rear electronics, so those could be shortened, and remove the ones that now go nowhere. Its all simple work.
I have new bearings and seals for the rear of the transfer case, that I will include. It has a extremely slow leak from the output shaft. Never been an issue. Some other minor things that need to be finished, but nothing mechanical. Its a very solid rig, did i mention it runs great! I also have all the doors, all electronics work perfectly. Ill reinstall them if desired.
Feel free to PM me with questions, or if you want more (specific) photos.
Also for sale is my tow rig that never got to tow. 1993 dodge cummins w250. Solid body, no rust. Dent in passenger door, and passenger front fender. BUILT Auto transmission with less than 10k, Over $3000 in build parts. Few upgrades to the motor. KDP fixed. Air bag assist. Pulls like a horse, runs like a champ. Bought this to be a tow rig when I put the cruiser on 42's, but life has changed my plans.
