I was going to do a full restoration on this old girl but due to family commitments no longer have the time and I want her to go to someone who appreciates the mighty 40 series.
The vehicle was running 12 months ago when I decided to start a full restoration.
Started with a New 2” OME suspension and re did the Tie Rod ends then thought I would start at the front and work to the back that’s when I decided to totally rebuild the original engine which was pulled out and had fully rebuilt back to original.
The vehicle is an original BJ with a B diesel motor (Not an FJ converted to a BJ).
Has had a bare metal respray 5 years ago.
Massive fuel tank sits under driver and passenger seats (approx. 100 litres).
New 2” OME suspension / Tie Rod ends.
Fully reconditioned B Motor Reassembled and on engine stand waiting to go back in has New pistons / chrome ring set /main /big end / cam bearings /full gasket set /pre compression chambers / welch plug kit / exhaust valves / oil pump spline drive / oil pump gear inner & outer.
New Injectors / Reconditioned fuel pump / new radiator.
Comes with original rear jump seat / original split rims x 4 / original jack & handles / original owners hand book.
Plus much more.
The vehicle has been garaged inside at my mechanics for the last 12 months.
(This was a no rush restoration project ).
I have all receipts for all work done including engine work overhaul & rebuild of injectors and pump etc.
Price is $7000 Australian
