Hi all,
I have a 1985 FJ60 with no drivetrain except axles. Sitting on stock springs, needs shackles and bushings. Had OME lift which went on my other truck. Will roll, would NOT recommend flat tow.
I'd be happy with $500 for the whole truck. I'll probably scrap it if it isn't gone end of the month. I'm willing to pull and ship parts if you're willing to be patient and pay a reasonable price, including packaging and shipping.
Body is straight, doors, upper rear hatch and most of the shell are rust free.
Rust in the lower right front fender, tailgate, along the weatherstrip seam at the bottom of the tailgate on the body, and a little spot of surface rust at the lower driver's corner of the windshield. Pics show it all.
Doors are complete with all fittings and glass EXCEPT drivers door, it's just the shell with separate glass, the window regulator and handle/lock are gone.
Dash pad is cracked and nasty. I have a dash cover, it has a small crack on the right side of the gauge cover.
Have gauge cluster, all were working as of engine removal. 290k odd miles showing.
For the FJ62 guys looking for a round light conversion, the front support has surface rust on the battery side, but it's not bad, basically surface rust. Should be able to treat and refinish.
Frame is solid, has a bit of rust between the layers at the rear. Definitely usable as is, would restore easy. Rear shock cross member is solid. The frame has GM V8 motor mounts welded in.
Gas tank is good. Brake master, clutch master both present and were working fine before engine was pulled about 6 months ago. Our shop has a 2F with about 230k on eBay right now, and a 4 speed and split case xfer sitting here too, so if interested you could buy a drivetrain with the truck.
No steering box. No driveshafts. Aircon evap, fan and ducts spoken for.
