I have found to what appears to be a complete OEM drivetrain in a 1970 FJ40
It is in a pick-n-pull yard called Gary's U Pull It in Binghamton, NY. It looks to be complete from the aircleaner housing to the driveshafts. The original skid plate is in place even. It has the original column shift and solid uncut tranny hump. This appears to have been a street tuck (not a wheeling truck). It looks like it had a plow attached at one time. In fact the tub is serviceable (by northeast standards), it was originally tan repainted white. I have taken the hood, doors and windshield frame already. The gauge cluster is gone. Seats are there and the frames looked decent. OEM hubcap wheels are there too.
Bib is gone, tailgate and hardtop are gone, jumpseats are gone. Fenders are fixable, skirts are good. I took the lower dashpads, upper is ok.
I will most likely not be able to spend any time pulling parts. If you are HOT for something please ask and I might be able to help.
