helping a buddy with a head gasket on Toyota 2.8L engine.
are the head bolts 14mm 12point or does it take a special socket.
I tried a 14mm 12 point wrench on the bolts and seems like a sloppy fit.
thanks in advance

do you think I will notice any difference between the 3L and 2LT pump?
have you ever installed boost compensator from a turbo injection pump onto a non turbo
pump. what is the part number of a late model 2LT pump?
thanks again
I am not after tons more power. Just little more power maybe little better fuel economy. Wasn’t going to run more 15 psi of boost. I was hoping in selling the 3L pump to offset the price of 2LT pump. The 2LT is brand new old stock from denso.
I just bought pump so I won't be looking for a different pump. will it be less power than my 3L pump?
the reason I got the pump was for the boost compensator, since I installed a turbo on my 3L.
any info would be appreciated. thanks
just got a new 2lt injection pump for my 3l. will it give me enough fuel for the 400 cc larger engine?
someone was telling me it will work but not 100%. can anyone shed some light on the subject?
thanks in advance
thanks for the info. it doesn't run hot until I hit a hill, though if I have my foot on the skinny pedal it runs hotter.
I am running the stock fan stroud with the electric fan so it is sealed pretty good.
another question what kind of boost can I run safely. boost is now at about 5psi.
here...
I don’t understand the electric fan more air than a mechanical fan when the engine is idling. I kept the oem fan stroud. What about going to a flex fan as an option?
done turbo conversion on my Toyota 3l.
it seems to run hotter than before the conversion.
have upgraded to aluminum rad and electric fan.
any suggestions? was contemplating a water / air intercooler not sure if it would help.
thanks
are you about the sensor in the airbox?
I replaced the airbox on my 87 turbo sr5 with a k&n
cone filter and there was sensors at all in the airbox.
the only plugin that is the near the airbox is on the maf sensor.
