Went to the bodyshop and spent a few hours putting trim, mirrors, new weatherstripping and belt moldings on. Glass guy did new Toyota windshield too. Planning to bring it back Monday. They're painting the dissent front bumper and rear bumper today along with some odds and ends. Can't wait...

Clear acrylic works! Way nicer looking than the ones I normally make from walmart hdpe cutting boards..... If concerned with tacky-ness, add some color changing LEDs for +5hp.

Currently planning my stereo build and dampening/deadening materials. Truck is at the paint shop so I can't really measure it right now. I can figure out how much material (coverage wise) I need easy enough, but does anyone know how much clearance there is between the headliner and the roof...

Went to the paint shop to check out the progress. Really fascinating process. The shop is a 1 man operation and he takes the time to walk me through everything. Cool to find someone super passionate about his craft. Hoping to have it back mid April!

Totally agree. My old truck I beat on and didn't care about hopping in soaked, muddy etc. This truck is perfect inside save for the front row seat bottoms after baking in the Texas sun for 18 years. So for this one it's worth giving it some new quality covers. Thanks for all the info...

@Mike NXP Thanks for the review on these covers. You did a good job installing them - it's not an easy task to get them tight! As I eye replacement covers, LCH covers are top of my list at the moment. Could you please provide an update on their durability now that it's been about 2 years?

Same color, black garnet. The pictures are deceiving. Clear coat had failed on roof and tops of doors, handles, mirrors.. Front end (hoods and fenders) and part of the rear d pillars had a cheap repaint done some time ago.

Long day of disassembly yesterday, but ready for a fresh coat of paint! Just waiting on the tow truck now.
