1973 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 Trade?

35x12.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs, 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II with 3 and something backspace (3.36", I think). Suspension is spring over axle with a few leaves removed and stock length shackles. Drives great. SOA may seem inexpensive at first but there is alot involved, mainly steering...
I'm running a 4.3 V6 /4L60E /NP205 combo pushed foward as far as possible. I have enough room to mount my battery behind the motor and only 3/8" clearance at the electric fan. Both shafts are nice and long, though.
I got one of the aluminum 40 radiators from Ebay for around $200 shipped. It was a bit thicker than stock and took a bit of clearancing in the radiator support, but the truck doesn't get over 185* with a 4.3 vortec. It ran about 200*ish with the stock radiator.
Steering column out of a 60/62? I did that mod in mine but it does not stick out that far at all. Your seat frame is similar to mine also, I just didn't have a tank to deal with. Looks good. Keep it up. :beer:
Check my build thread, last couple pages. i PUT IN Corbeaus and built the pass side to tilt foward. I used 2 bearclaw latches rated at 500# each. Not too hard to do. PM me if you have any ?s.
I picked up a set of 5 1/4" lo-profile marine speakers. They fit very nicely in the "pocket" on either side of the barn door inside the tub. I just used 3 small self tappers each and screwed them right in. Cant really tell they are there and sound good. I'd post a pic but I have none right now.

Diff clears just fine. I've had it teetering on DS rear and PS front and it just clears.
I'm thinking about trading the 40. I like building them waaay to much. I think if I could get 2...
