After looking on the forum i'm still unsure which to go with. I have 93 4runner front calipers and stock rear drums (87 FJ60).
I tried a 93 4runner master and it doesn't work well. Need to pump it once and even then the rears lock up first (not pretty with a lock-rite). The proportioning and...
I broke mine wheeling it (broke the sway bar link) and didn't notice and difference until i loaded it full of people, all their junk and a 2000lb trailer. It swayed really bad over 60mph, scary bad. Now i leave it connected until i go offroad.
All stock suspension btw. Dave
I like to use Redline where ever i can, but my friend the Lexus (and formerly toyota) tech says moly only. Its only $2-3 per tube, and since you need 5 tubes that's what i used (Redline is $8+ ea.)
He also showed me how to get it in easily. Squish the tube like tooth paste and keep folding it...

Thank you all for your responses. this is something that i had no idea about. I'll be looking into the T100 MC to see if it does indeed use a residual valve. If not, then the i'll add one.
Gr8DoughBoy, which model of T100 MC did you get. Napa lists many of them (1Ton, with/without abs etc)...
This summer i swapped some '93 4runner front calipers and a '93 4runner master cylinder into my FJ60.
After extensive bleeding i am still having issues with the proportioning. If i simply push the pedal, i get long travel and the rears lock up first. If i give two pumps and then push i get a...
Rebuild the carb? The kit is only $20 and it is really easy, should only take few hours, unless you ponder to really scrub each part. It got rid of all my stumbles.
I bet the reason it doesn't stumble when you floor it is because the accelerator pump floods the motor with fuel when you do...
Mine will climb until the carb looses fuel with the locker, without it would not.
You should beable to think of lots of ways to check to see if your locker is working. If it's a lockright i don't think that you can screw it up and have it still drive......
