Thanks @GA Architect I'll take a look. That very well could be where my darn noise is originating. When I lift the vehicle I don't feel anything loose so that may be the culprit. BTY, nice '77 FJ40....

I don't have any vibration in the steering. Turns easily and smoothly.

When I drive straight or turn left on a bumpy road my suspension rattles. It sounds like it's coming from an area near the steering box. If I turn right the noise disappears. I am thinking it's either the pitman arm or center arm. I don't have play and my steering box was rebuilt a few years ago...

Do you have a wire diagram at the motor. My "new", once was my "old" ( I bought it back after 5 years), was rewired while out of my possession. Now my wipers are fast first pull, slow second pull and they will will not stop in the down position, but rather they stop where ever they are when you...
