the throw out bearing should go into and depress the splines on the clucth plate. it didnt look like yours was going in enough? or am i seeing it right? you typical can tighten the linkage to make the throw out bearing go in more or get or make a longer adjustment shaft

Im lookin at it and it looks like i can only shim it out a small amount which i dot need much? otherwise the linkage will be to close to the shock 1/4 in shouldnt mess the linkkage much??

I got a 1976 fj 40 I need just a little more clearance for the exhaust manifold. v8 conversion. Is it possible to shim out steering gear box? does The shaft have enough free play to put a 1/4 inch plate or more??? between the steering gear box and the frame?

Engine fuse in the box ? You mean the fuse block next to the drivers left foot vent door tgst a pain in the back to get to ? I checked those I forgot about the little black boxes fuses next to tge radio ?

Well the hot side of the ammeter is still hot still no power to tge old fuze block didn’t see anything melted the ground side of the ammeter is cold and disconnected I didn’t check it for juice before I disconnected it I thought it was a ground I bet it was supposed to be hot ?? It’s white blue...
