The two problems likely are not related. My guess is door jamb switch and door lock actuator motor. Does the overhead light come on when the PS rear door is opened?

Thanks y’all, fixed the washer issue and relocated the clamp so it’s not contacting down pipe. Ended up putting in a new screw and nut I had on hand. Next question, has anyone removed this bracket? IIRC I tried to unbolt it but it’s...

    1. Obviously you would direct the clamps so that the fasteners are away from the other parts, but those clamps are quite a chore to align. 2. That looks to be original hardware from Tial. However, Tial has started providing clamps that look...

the orientation of the clamps do not matter as long as they are clearing any parts. those are the correct hardware that is included with the tial wastegates.
  • uscmas412
When the shop did my reinstall, I don’t think they oriented the wastegate clamp properly. Two questions: 1) which direction should the clamp/bolt face. You can see it’s currently contacting the down pipe. 2) Pretty sure that’s not original...

can you share the one you have had success with? i've been looking at getting a kit to help identify intake leaks on both NA and boosted engines, but Amazon has some that are a glorified paint can all the way to pro shop level gear. i think i...

If any of you have CarPlay, there’s an app (OnTrack) that works with Bluetooth OBD2 readers to display data on your head unit. You’ll need a specific Bluetooth reader and the app is $30/year or $4/mo I was a little hesitant, but the reader...

It’s accessible behind the door pillar. Removing the seatbelt mount helps to remove blue locking clip. Wire lead is off harness circled in red.

Order the Denso unit from Rock Auto. I think you're looking for the downstream sensor.

Did you upgrade to all AN fittings to match the new cooler?

Bump...about to replace my leaking soft lines. Anyone find a direct replacement that's not $600? I'll probably just go the refurb route if not.

Mine appear original and are in various stages of deterioration. I think I could sand smooth in place to avoid warping, than apply something like 3M rubberized coating.

Has anyone refurbished these with some type of black rubber coating?

There is 1 relay that supplies +12 to all 4 bulb positions, and there are 2 fuses. 1 for left side and one for right side, both high and low beam. If the highs work in the flash position, but not when pushing the stalk to the high position, then...

I will put this on my list of many things to do and approach him. I do not want to get into selling things, but he already has a business that sells 3D printed parts, so, it may be a good fit for him.

This gauge is what the shop used to make sure turbo setup was good, didn’t think to look at instructions. FWIW I’m at sea level with high pressure today, 30.05

For s***s and grins I connected a cheapo Bosch to the T fitting on the upper intake temporarily. What am I actually looking at? @ idle shows 20 vacuum Here's a driving video, starts at 20 vacuum then gets up to 3-4 pressure. I was 1/2 to 3/4...

Prior to my turbo install at 200k miles, I had a local shop rebuild the head and use aftermarket valves while ceramic coating the pistons. It lasted about 3k miles before poor compression. I then had a LC specialty shop re-do the head...

Where did you get the band clamps? Mine really don’t seal that well, probably cut the silicon too short.

For the WE turbo kit, are the oil feed and drain lines custom in any way (length/fittings)? Both of mine are wet with oil, but not dripping yet. I’d rather replace with stainless flex if I can find something off the shelf.

I've got a jamb switch the PO disassembled w/o the contacts or plunger that I'm looking to replace. I looked at both rear switches, but the feed wire appears to be connected inside the rear wheel well area. A slight tug doesn't give any slack...
