    craigslist Really? $10,000?

I actually looked at this cruiser as I work nearby. It is a "consignment" sale. The actual truck a mess. Max $2500 truck. I made an offer to the dealer, but no feedback from owner. Price recently dropped to "Only $8995".

    cdn m101 trailer tarp

Here is my thread on the subject of an M416 tarp. The outfit I used for mine would certainly match whatever you needed. I much prefer the vinyl as it is much more water proof. I reinforced the corners with some canvas on the inside bonded by ShoeGoo and have had zero issues...

    Inflatable boats experience?

I understand the size concerns. typical usage won't be long floats. more likely rare use of all 5. I do like the idea of renting one for a few days, will try that. anyone have experience actually carrying a inflatable on camping trips?

    Dealing with being under-winched?

No worries. Just do some homework. Physics is a great study. Someone on here posted a series of photos/vids of an ausssie 45series pulling out a deeply stuck excavator using an 8000lb winch. That's a 5k truck pulling out a 30ton piece of steel using the method in this pic. Just a matter...

    my slow project...slow

I went to a local salvage yard and found 4 old scissor jacks from chevy trucks. Welded them on my trailer. Though you wouldn't have to permanently weld them on like I did. total cost was $20 (5/per)

    Inflatable boats experience?

Considering purchasing an inflatable to take with me camping with the :princess: and kiddies. I think a 12 ft is about the right length if I try to get all 5 of us on. My intent is to deflate and store rather than tow on trailer, or roof mount while inflated. I will also be carrying a...

Teton Trip and small gear review

Ya. If you've got fuel to burn off, boiling rocks works well. They don't get too got to damage anything, but hot enough to speed drying. I don't like heating the rocks on flame directly. I did end up casting a few lines on the extra day at the end of our hike on the Snake. Though it was...

What camp stove do you use?

My wife just brought home one of these: C-OVEN Outdoor Camp Oven 2 Burner Range And Stove - Camp Chef Haven't tried it. Initially I thougth "are you kidding?" But, if it get's her out of the house, and makes camping enjoyable for her, then so be it. I'll stick with my MSR Whisperlite.

Teton Trip and small gear review

Hi guys. Sadly, this thread does not have Cruiser content. However, I did see a few nice 62's in Jackson hole last week. I flew from Michigan to Jackon with the intent of climbing up and over Paintbrush divide via Holly lake. I spoke with the ranger station to get recent weather...
