2010 LX570 124k miles. Did transmission flush (full 14 quart flush) through transmission cooling line. Absolutely amazed at the outcome. Simply did as a PM, as I did not think I was having any shifting problems. Apparently, very slowly over time my shifting had become a tiny bit rough...
Add me to the list 2010 LX570, 123k miles. Put the new radiator in today. Went fairly smoothly. One thing I didn't look carefully at was how the fan shroud rested against the radiator. Can someone check to verify that you can see the metal "crimp" closure on the radiator when looking at it...
Thanks. I feel like I'm looking for problems too. BTW, yes I'm on a perfectly level shop floor. And I'm familiar with the drivers side lean from previous 4Runners, but two things seem to be at odds with each other. If the AHC system is smart enough to level itself out if the ground is...
Hey folks. Just finished up with a flush/bleed of the AHC system on my 2010 LX570. No previous issues, but it's over 100,000 miles and I didn't have any documentation that it had been done before. Seems like everything went as it should. My system continues to work as expected, but of course...
I'm guessing none of you have dogs. I find anything located on the center console is pawed at and stepped on and accidentally activated way too often. Having switches by my knees that I might have to bend over a bit to see far outweighs the alternative.
I wanted a way to solve two issues I have with camping out of the back of the ride.
One: If you fold the 2nd row seats all the way up you loose a lot of room. I'm not a tall guy and even I find it a little short to lay down without feeling a bit cramped.
Two: Using the "floor" as your...
Excellent info. Thanks for posting this. My 2010 just developed the same rattle. Same issue, same solution. Interestingly the loose screw in mine was the only screw of that kind without blue loctite. I guess we know why it backed out. Were any of you able to figure out where it is supposed...
I have a 2010 LX570. I have done several things to it in the past few thousand miles that have required lengthy times with the battery disconnected (various repairs and mods). I get the sense that I'm close to needing an oil change, which has me wondering. Do the extended times without power...
2010 LX570 with 90k miles. Several months ago while under the truck doing and oil change and overall inspection I noticed the lower ball joint on both driver and passenger sides appeared to have torn boots. There was a small amount of grease accumalting around the bottom of each. No signs of...
I use 5w-30 a well, but I'm curious as to why you say it's better for engine. I assumed it was climate dependent. And seeing Alaska on your avatar would make me think you'd actually prefer 0w-30. Insight?
