Not to be contradictory, but on the ex's V-6 two mpg gains were normal after a filter change. Marked decrease was noticed after fifteen to twenty thousand miles.

Downey has a most respectably priced 3" lift that has done me right. A couple of years flexing around and no issues. Great stuff for those not wishing to modify everything else to get their lift working properly. Plug and play!
Two cents worth! Bob
JonnyFJ, See if your BMW mechanic could bust it open and re jet it. Smaller jets might do it. Heck, if nothing else, sell the 38/38 and get one of the 34/34 or the 32/36.
Heya JONNYFJ, would that 38/38 you put on your truck be a progressive carb. I guess I'm asking if both barrels open at the same time or does one open to a given point upon throttle movement before the second barrel opens. If both actuate at the same time, this could be your problem, Not enough...
I got few vibes out of my center carrier bearing going out. I'm with 2nd Gen on the vibe thing. If theirs any noticeable wear in a U-joint, it does need to be replaced. That is the first part I'd replace. The center carrier is a small chunk of change these days. I forgot what I paid just months...
I do believe that part of the reasoning is due to the weak stock configuration as well. Some stock front hangers have been partially ripped off the frame. The stockers aren't made for what most of us like to do to them on the rocks.

J. you shouldn't need anything else except a screw or stick to stop up a couple vacuum lines that might be sucking air. The kit looks good. And quite complete. The under Three bill price tag can't be beat either. Let me know if you like it or not. I've run a few Webers on my Toys over the years...
It was one of my tensioner pulley bearings growling causing me to get a little worried. Took a bit to figure out. One pulley should have a replaceable bearing, not to hard to press out. And the other came complete. I just replaced them both as they were the same age anyway. Welcome and good...
It was months before I finally figured my problem to be related to a plug wire breaking down. Brand new set of OEM wires. New everything else and still the miss. The plug wires had only been removed one time since being installed. It was this first time the wires had been pulled that I had an...
Hey Jay, I hope your out paddling today and not watching this web site like I'm forced to do. I was just informed we had till monday to get a rather big job done and I cannot get away. Buyou's up to thirteen feet!! :bang: followed by mucho
Well, instead of a shift lever in your floor for transfer case shifting, yours is activated by the pull/push lever on your dash. Cable activated to the transfer case.
Wecome to I8Hmud
You can never beat a factory part as long as its still available. OEM is always better. I personally use no sealant on them. Most dealer mechs. will put a little something on them. Use any sealer sparingly. Serious! And make sure theirs no remnants of any previous sealing compounds...
