      Many thanks for your clear answer, I will order two new paper gaskets and will apply permatex in between, very good service of Marks Off Road that was not the case when I bought my pump in EU unfortunately

      Both the paper gasket on the block And the metal plate and the paper gasket in between was fitted. No silicon was used which created a cooling water leak. It is clear by comments in previous threads that permatex should be applied on the paper...

      and remove the metal cover and apply the silicon on the paper gasket. Should that be sufficient to stop the leakage

      My waterpump was also leaking I think because an additional paper gasket was fitted on top of the metal one Should I remove the paper gasket and apply rtv sillicon instead
