    FJ80 ARB rear axle

Yep. The SF axle shaft is held in by the c clips and the carrier is clearanced to allow the clips to be removed. The FF shaft is held in by the bolts at the hub. Use your carrier and save some cash.

    FJ80 ARB rear axle

Did you know you can just swap the semi floater 3rd into the full floater axle? Im running an ARBd FJ60 third in my 94 rear axle. Not sure if you can put the FF third in the semi float axle though since it requires C clips to retain the axle shafts though.

    Key won't turn

If you turn the key once it unlocks the drivers door. Turning it two times unlocks all the doors. Like someone else said. Spray a good quality dry lube in the tumbler and p[ush& pull the key out of it a few times. I went to a locksmith to get a used tumbler rekeyed and he told me not to...

found some plugs disconnected under my dash. help please! pics

Not sure about all the plugs but it looks like there used to be an alarm system in there. Maybe a previous owner took it out? The Valet switch is so you wouldn't have to give a valet the alarm remote if they parked your truck for you.

Is the top of the hood flush with the valance? If not, all you have to do is pit a 2x4 (wood) on the middle of the ledge under...

    2nd Alternator to 3FE

I put a gm alternator in my cruiser. I think it was out of a 97 truck (vortec engine). Haven't had a problem winching but i'm running dual redtops. it was a little tight. Built a bracket that attaches to the alternator that uses the 3fe alternator mounting points.

Doh moment in new to me 80

Will your second row middle seat belt latch into the side seats? Been a while since i've needed a kid seat but if that belt will latch i would piggyback the belts where they bolt to the floor.

Anybody Modified A Rear Heater Switch to be a Momentary Switch?

I used a rear window switch out of a 3rd gen 4Runner. They are located on the center console of the 4runner right next to the ECT switch i used to power up/lock out the in/out switch. There are a lot of these trucks in the junk yards and the switches are cheap.
