My Nephew and I are going to try to meet you all at Classic Cruisers tomorrow depending on when I can drag him into the 40 and get out the door. Safe travels to you all!
Jeff
That's too cool you found another one! I really wish I wouldn't have destroyed mine (was young and stupid at the time). Please preserve this baby, if it was a sky blue hood I would be hitting you up for it. The only info I was able to get was the pictures I posted above from someone in NH I...
Has anyone had teeth on their top break off? My top is pretty tight and these teeth couldn't handle the pull anymore. Is there a way to fix teeth without replacing the zipper? I tried a method on youtube but couldn't get the teeth on with any success.
Nolen,
What were the final part numbers on the IMS shocks you went with on this, I have Billsteins on now with my Dobinsons springs and need to get some new shocks due to age. The Billstein's have been fine for me over the years but now I want this suspension to really shine.
I feel your pain, but well worth it on that rig. I was using my finger nail and a razorblades to take off my thin green to get to the stock blue. I cheated along the way but it all blends.
I will have to get one of the rivnut gizmos and put my heat shields back in, all of my dumb bolts snapped on removal 15 years ago. I see you have a Timbren bump stop installed, which part number did you find that fit the 40?
Can't say enough about how much fun I had at SAS5. Was our first time and we will be back. After getting back to Denver and having the worst air in the WORLD yesterday I am ready to move to Ouray. Here are a couple from the drone. Glad to meet everyone and escape the day to day.
