I did, but would that really cause a weak spark condition as opposed to just a no start condition? I'll probably strip the valve cover off today and reverify, but I can't figure out how that would cause these symptoms.
So I have a 1997 40th Anniversary that I just did an engine rebuild on at 300k. Car ran fine when engine was removed, but will not start now that everything is back together.
At first it had no spark, now it has very weak spark.
Some parts were replaced during the build: cap, rotor, wires, CKP...
After much emotional distress, I'm selling my FJ60.
My wife and I want a diesel truck to tow the race cars and travel to Labrador.
So...
1987 FJ60.
Metallic Blue/Grey.
2.5" BDS/Ironman lift kit, new shocks, greaseable shackles.
New exhaust, 2.5" with a flowmaster.
15x8" steel wheels...
Does anyone knoe what year/size of Suburban tank? I don't mind fabrication work, but I'm pretty busy, so no insane stuff. I already was dumb fixing the rust and making new crossmembers for the frame. Rust sucks.
I remember the big, 42? gallon tank being a good auxiliary tank for the FSJ I used...
Already checked, it was done in 1991. I tried whining to the service manager, we do some work for them, didn't work.
They were very nice about it though.
Mine rusted through near the outlet fitting on my '87. Anyone have one nearby for sale? I'm hoping to get the truck fixed by Friday so I can take it fishing. I'm wiling to travel anywhere within three hours or so.
Thanks
