i have an 89 FJ62 with an A440 auto tranny, 199k miles. when i shift into reverse there is a bout a 1-1.5 second delay and then CLUNK! it feels like i just got rear ended. it is a little less severe going from 1st to 2nd gear, but still a clunk. i did a search, but did not find a remedy...
