Have a short block out of a 94 Land Cruiser (80 Series, 1FZ-FE). Had some blow by but no knocking and ran fine. I am in the Denver area if interested. From what i understand this will not work on the OBDII models 95 (ones that are OBDII) and 96 and newer, has to do with the crank sensor location.
Actually found new/rebuilt engine for a 94, a programmable ECM, and a supercharger. Just need to figure out the cost of the other options which at this point is either a 96 OBDII conversion, or a V8 swap.
Low compression, blow by on 2 cylinders. Not he’ll bent on anything, just trying to figure out if I have everything figured. Even finding parts for a 96-97 OBDII is difficult
