This hybrid feature is what makes me really prefer LC vs GX. Although buying used in 5 years GX would probably much cheaper just like LC200 VS LX570 in used car market.
Most likely you would still want a small battery pack to power the fridge...
A couple of things. The hybrid since I have a long commute. I like the 2400W inverter that comes with it as well because I like to do tech stuff in the field where a 3.5 amp inverter doesnt always cut it. The LC looks like it'll take less front...
250 started arriving to Middle East. This was taken in Oman ( keep in mind each GCC dealer has different specs, so we still don't know how the others will be - but Oman generally has good specifications for the region - so if this is the best...
Except you made the assumption I live down in town. No, I’m not in Alaska but my subdivision roads are snow packed for approx 4 months of the year. The constant freeze thaw makes the roads worse than if it was always cold. I welcome more snow, it...
I don't have the option of the 300 in my country. The 250 being called "light-duty" does not make the 300 "heavy-duty". If you want that you need the real land cruiser 70 series.
I am seriously considering a 1958.
I already have a GX460 and would like to have something a little more utilitarian. I never intended to get a GX, but now that I have it, I really want to be it's last owner. Having something more basic...
Some media hit the Japan Land Cruiser channel.
Toyota Launches All-New Land Cruiser "250" Series in Japan | Toyota | Global Newsroom | Toyota Motor Corporation Official Global Website - https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/toyota/40658942.html...
… this “Picture thread” has seemingly devolved into something a little less enjoyable. Maybe this will get things back on track.
Got into Moab today for my second Cruise Moab event - as we were at registration picking up our swag after vehicle...
Everyone hates on the new thing even before they see or drive one. As far as I'm concerned, the FJ80 was the last land cruiser in the US until the LC250. The 100 and on look like garbage to me.
Edmunds has tested and reviewed the new LC250 and...
The new 4Runner looks pretty good, still too bad no natural aspirated V6 as an option.
Clearly bringing out the LC250 Prado as a Land Cruiser is a big mistake/scam. Disgrace to the Land Cruiser name IMO. I would be ashamed buying one and...
Also, what's kind of interesting is that since Toyota doesn't really produce models according to actual demand and only in accordance with their anticipated or projected demand, suggesting that Toyota vehicle sales are indicative of demand seems...
Thats cool man and im not trying to discount that need at all. Im just saying that they are not offering an entire segment of folks with anything and instead offering folks like yourself like 7 different flavors of the same thing more or less...
I guess I'm one of the few Toyota is marketing for. I loved my FJ80 but decided to get rid of it for safety features like air bags, abs..etc, with my family. I would never consider the 100 or 200 series. They never looked good to me. When the 250...

@Teebo, @RaddyCruiser , I do not work on the docks. Although there was some Facebook pictures from the unloading from the first shipment. I am not on FB, someone needs to find that person.
Payload doesn't come for free. It requires stiffer suspension (worse ride) and extra weight. That weight reduces fuel economy and in today's CAFE-driven environment, every MPG counts.
So to review it looks like:
GX550 is the new Land Cruiser.
The 250 is the new 4Runner.
The 6th 4R is basically a Tacoma without the bed.
Something for everyone if one gets past the Orwellian assault on language.
