Bolt head looks to be sheared off

I just replaced the neutral safety switch a few months ago - the problem is so intermittent I'm thinking it wasn't the problem after all.

Hmm- lower starter mounting bolt head is broken off - ??

So maybe the starter was more like 13+ years ago - so I'll probably replace the contacts etc to make sure. It really only happens once a blue moon - but almost always at the worst time. Keep the suggestions coming!

OEM starter with replaced contacts about 10 years ago. She just got home - says all the lights would come on but got nothing with turing the key to start - not even that little audible click. All the interior / exterior lights / trouble lights and radio were working. She reports it...

Intermittently my FZJ80 wouldn't crank. Turn the key and nada - for a while shifting in and out of park would cure it. I replaced the Neutral Safety Switch and all seemed cured. Until my wife called me from the road tonight and couldn't get it to crank after stopping for gas - reported...

Anyone ever tried getting the OEM heaters / switches and retrofitting them in? I've got the OEM switches and I can order the $$$ OEM heat elements -but I'm unsure how much of the actual wiring is there in the car. I'm hoping that the OEM heat elements have pigtails to plug in to.
