SUMMIT CRUISERS replied to the thread valve adjustment? 92 3fe.
Needs a valve adjustment. 8th post down explains the way I do it. Couple tips that I didn’t mention below: break the adjustment nuts loose then re-tighten just a bit before starting your truck and doing the adjustments. Also make sure your AC is...

VIN is shown in last pic on Copart. I'm sure the insurance co doesn't want to deal with unknown's of the repairing of it and/or the owner not wanting to own a repaired LC. Taking it to Copart is the easy way out. They probably have a high...

And only 301 miles. So sad. Hope all are OK. Airbags deployed all over the place.

Our trans are hydraulic controlled and very sensitive to fluid levels. Make sure you are properly filled before going down the rabbit hole of rebuilds and tearing things apart. My 92 had a similar issue. Will hold 1st a long time into the red...

FYI the EFI relay has nothing to do with the starter. The battery connections, fusible link, starter itself or the trigger wire from the ignition switch is not providing full power to engage starter solenoid. Check what is cheapest and easiest...

SUMMIT CRUISERS replied to the thread 3-fe tire size questions.
Anything will work for overlanding including stock. The two main questions you will want to answer is performance and the look. With a 3" Lift you will want 35's. Anything less in my opinion on an 80 looks too small. 1" lift 33's look...

You're asking for a remote diagnosis of a noise we can't hear on an engine that sounds like ball bearings in a blender when it's running well. I suggest doing some poking around under the hood and try to localize it. A piece of garden hose held...

Sounds like battery is down a bit. Try jumping it. Quick and easy. 12.3 is fine but under a load trying to start is probably considerably less. Still no crank and just a click, check battery connections.

Most 91’s and 92’s have “the clunk”. Wouldn’t worry much and don’t waste $ rebuilding your TC. Might want to check front drive flanges and driveshaft slip joints for slop.

Here's another thread with a pic of it. I know it takes some long arms to reach it and work on it. That's why the up high comment but below the Pesky heater hose. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/stuck-nss-connector-help.1050628/#post-12299933

If you haven't done so yet, please inspect the Neutral Safety switch barrel connector. Located driver's side, back of the engine up high and is below the Pesky Heater hose as I recall. These things are about 9 out 10 times the problem with...

When you changed the Fuel pump, did you install a new fuel sock/strainer on the bottom of the pump? If not do that and report back. I have seen this situation occur when the sock/strainer was not changed. I would also change the inline fuel...

Please keep in mind that the EFI circuit has NOTHING to do with the starter circuit. The ECU along with the EFI relay could be in your neighbors refrigerator, and the starter will still crank the engine.
