    A bent axle housing could causes this to happen. I knew a guy who kept loosing studs and it turned out his housing was bent. In saying that I'd just check wheel bearings, swap axle studs and keep an eye on it.

    They're OEM. On 40s/45s they bolt to the windscreen hinge or just below it I believe. Mounts vertically too, not how I've done it..

    Wasn't happy with the 55 mirrors so adapted some early 40/45 oem mirrors I'd been holding onto for years... Charles helped adjust the mirror angles. Close up of what I did to get around drilling extra mounting holes...just flipped one of the brackets and packed it with a few washers to suit...

    Got tired of pulling out a R pin to release my swing out tyre carrier so welded on a spring loaded latch. Had a HJ61 transfer knob floating about so welded on what I think was a M12 X1.25 bolt thread to the release pin....
