My post was well over a year old ;) but I did get all three manuals shipped out to me for my 77. They're still in the box Toyota shipped them in on my shelf. Sucks they're out of stock now though.
The other issue I didn't see mentioned with GS is an eye diesease that's common in them and only affects shepards. Ours is going blind from a cataract-like issue (can't remember the name now) but it's basically scar tissue that forms on the eye. My dog's 9 and the specialist figures she'll be...
I've roughed in the boxes, ran the circuit and installed the t-stat on a ton of them and my main piece of advice is amke sure you use the biggest (widest and tallest) device box you can find. Lots of the thermostats won't fit in a standard width or height device box.
I think the manual said it needs to be a max of 3' from the wall and one or less 90 degree bends if I remember right. You can probably download the install instructions on the site and double check for sure.
I bought it through a HVAC wholesaler up here and installed it myself. Buy the vent kit and it makes life much easier. I think it took me about 2 hours to hang it and vent it. I had a gas fitter run the line while he was doing our BBQ and dryer lines.
I have a Rezor 60K BTU in my garage and love it. It keeps the garage "shorts and a t-shirt" warm in -30 winters up here. I was border line between the 45 and 60K BTU units so I went with the bigger one for my garage (3 car).

I rode one and raced one for years and still like to pull it out once in a while and go for a ride around the neighbourhood but would never ride it in traffic and I consider myself a better than average cyclist. I've seen some nasty wipeouts on them at the track when a roadie showed up for his...
According to the Canadian code (can't speak for the NEC) you're not allowed to ground the neutral anywhere but in the service equipment. I think some of the dryers down there ground the neutral in them though and that's why when an appliance comes up across the border the cord needs to be...
Thanks, I remember reading that now that I see it. I'm hoping to get started on the weekend if I can get my basement ready for drywall by then.
Best deals on a good regulator and filter/dryer set-up?
I just traded some work for a brand new Devilbiss 60gal, 6.5hp compressor and would like to set my garage up properly the first time. My old, smaller compressor had a built in regulator and I just hooked a hose reel to it and went from there. This time, I'd like to run a couple air outlets in...
I bought two from the last batch and have to say they're a great looking shirt and very nice quality too. If the ones I have were even close to wearing out I'd order again. Two thumbs up!
