I should have noted it but I didn't. I remember glancing at the high side gauge and it being in the 200ish PSI range. No idea on the low side. Are you 100% certain you recharged it with about 900-1000g?

These ended up being correct. You need to first remove the left and right side reinforcement slates on each side of the upper tailgate, installed the grommets, reinstall the slates and then use the pushpins to crimp them together. Appreciate the help.
