Cheers! I have a 1990 FJ62 that has an odd starting problem. The truck will crank, when stone cold, once but not twice. If for some reason I start then stop the motor, then try and restart it again, all I get is a clicking sound, like the starter has a bad solenoid. If the motor cranks but...

How much, if any, effort should I put into removing the undercoating on the body of the truck? A lot of it still has the body color rubberized stuff on it, especially in the wheel wells. Should any effort be made to remove this? There are a lot of horror stories of materials like this...
