i pulled my motor and didn't pay attention to the fact that the front mounts are different sizes. right now i have the short one on the left and the long one on the right (from the drivers seat). is that right, or is it the other way around?

thanks for the replies. I have lots of time, no money. The usual. I'll be doing the rebuild so i'm looking for the best kits/instructions to get it done.
I'll check out the 2f for sale.
On my way to work this morning I blew my 2F. I think I threw a rod. There's a lot of friction taking the dip stick out, and the distributor is pinned up against the block. Whatever it is, there's only one way to find out/fix it. Overhaul!
Anybody got some good tech links for doing this...
I get a page error when I click upload... dunno. But it looks like no one is interested anyway. I guess I'll hold on to the stuff for a little while and see if anyone takes an interest.
Thanks for the help though.
Mike
Prep work blows goats, but as you all said and with any painting, it's the key. I love to apply paint, it's fun and looks good at the end. If it wasn't for prep work I'd be a professional painter.
I just finished coating the inside of my tub with Herculiner.
Here are a few tips I've come up with from my experience.
One gallon is enough for one coat of the inside of the tub, with about a quart left for touch up and double coating areas with that will undergo more wear.
When...
Oops, forgot the picture, but now it won't let me put the picture in.
Four drum pistons
Two front calipers
Master cylinder
Drum springs
I'll also have a pressure plate left over from my centerforce job, but I won't get rid of that until I have the new stuff in and working.

I just replaced all my brake hardware, so I have some old used parts i'll give to anyone that wants to pay the shipping. One of the pistons is pretty seized, but since I had all new stuff coming I didn't bother trying to free it or clean it. No guarunties that this stuff is re builable...
So I was replacing my brake master cylinder and broke off one of the studs on the booster. No biggie, took the cylinder back off and there was about 1/2 an inch of stud left. Vice grips, fire and some PB blaster right? Nah, not for me, snap. Now it's flush with the booster. Options so far...
