Bought four replacement bulbs for the burned out backlight bulbs on the climate control. Super annoying how expensive they are! I refuse to go the LED route because they never look right. I also scoured the junkyard looking for older Toyotas that might share bulbs and no luck.
It’s working fine for the most part? Occasionally when I put it into reverse it will just show a black screen. I think it might be the camera or also it could be the crappy tap I used to tee into the reverse and power wires. Not sure. But it works more often than not.
Set up craigslist alerts for private party. I had (still have actually) alerts for entire west coast/utah/CO....basically anywhere that's not in the rust belt. There are some obvious flippers out there, but you don't want to buy one of these from a dealer that bought it at auction and marked it...

Well I got the switch installed and happy to say they seem to work pretty well. They don’t get hot hot but it also might take a while. My newer cars get pretty hot but not until I’ve been driving for a little while. Still need to get the pads installed in the seats which I hear is the hard part...
Nice!!! I’m considering a spare steering rack myself since I’m not going to pay full retail and it’s starting to leak a bit. I want to have it on hand for when it s**s the bed
