I've got a pair of front turn signal assemblies for 1/75 - 1/80 FJ40. These are factory Toyota lights and are in very good condition, in fact they look as though they have never been installed (I got them with a parts Cruiser a long time ago). Factory plugs, stud, and lock nuts are all 100%...
I have an aluminum tub for a 1979 FJ40 up for sale. I bought this as part of a parts truck and the wife says that I need to get it out of the yard. The tub is used, but in great shape. The PO had painted it yellow and I removed 95% of the paint with aircraft stripper. The tub is located in...
Problem Solved!
I've got to say, the tech support from Painless was top-notch. They sent me a diagram that uses two 30 amp SPDT relays to split up the signal from the brake switch, if anyone is interested in the diagram just send me a PM and I'll email it to you (or someone can post it if they...
Thanks for the replies, I called Painless and they are supposed to email me a diagram that uses two relays to solve the problem. I suspected the ground as well, but I used a jumper wire to the negative battery terminal with the same results. I do have a meter and have traced everything out...
Here's the deal, I'm installing a Painless 18 circuit wiring harness and trying to use the stock turn switch and ignition. I've got the ignition switch all wired up and working correctly, but am stumped on the tail lights. The FJ column doesn't support integrated tail lights, so I bought one...
Alright, here's the deal. I bought a 1979 FJ40 out of the local paper because it had an aluminum tub (but rusty steel cowl). At the same time I ordered a brand new aluminum cowl (including windshield frame) from Cruiser Solutions. I took the tub off the '79 and stripped the paint with...

To answer a couple of questions:
Suarez0523 has claimed the wheels, tires and springs.
I've got a guy interested in the engine/tranny/transfer combo so unless he backs out all that leaves is the power steering stuff.
I'll be sure to post if anything comes up.
Thanks,
Eb
