I turn the key to start......wait a few seconds.....then, most of the time, it starts. After it runs and stops, sometimes 1, 3 or 4 or 30 tries and it starts. Maybe it's worse when it's humid.
I just don't understand the time delay. I am replacing the starter again. Sometimes a jump start...
thumbs up for leather from lseat...replaced lx fronts...color was pretty much spot on but not as smooth as the original...fit was right on and it is a project to replace correctly...find what you like cause you don’t want to do it twice
It could be that my pull to the right discussed in a previous thread, may be due to a caster correction issue. Never really was an issue till some taller skinnier tires.
Anyway, alignment shows 0.3 deg caster and I need ~3.
I have yet to discuss with Slee, but that is next since they are...
Thanks to all for joining me in tracking this down. I've had the truck for 10yrs. Cooper tires. It came with 4" OME and yellow bushings in the control arms.
Update: I do notice a little less pull to the right when I'm on the left side a crowned road.
I'm gonna get the front wheels off the...
It's not the crown in the road and that one is scary to test in the US. I did get an infrared thermometer to see if any discs were heating up after no braking and they are 90f and the hubs are 70f. No disc extra warmer than anything else.
On flat and sandy ground no hands, brake, and the truck...
I did solve a pulling problem on this truck last summer by rebuilding the FR caliper.
Got new tires and noticed a pull to the right. Maybe it was pulling some with the old tires, but I wasn't as
concerned then.
Replaced tie rod, front right caliper, adjusted bearing RF, swapped new tires...
I'm about to pull one. But last time the caliper holes did not look like someone drilled one out and the bolt is tight in the hole. Same set up on each side if I recall.
