You'll be fine. I drove the Rig of Mortis for years with 3.73s and 35"s, just had to downshift when I started to loose power on hills. I was able to use 5th gear on every drive, contrary to what lots of people had predicted. I did however pull the front drive shaft just in case somebody else...

Still working on this, just moving slower then I figured (outdoor welding and rain aren't fun). Moving onto the driver's side rocker work now.

Always use the bolt option over welding when mounting something as substantial as bumpers.

Yeah, it was a tough call but after 16 years as my daily driver I've decided to sell the Rig of Mortis, so right now it's under the knife -welding in fresh steel and replacing all the doors and fenders. Brakes my heart, it's bittersweet.

I would think the white roof deflects some of the sun's rays, however I have no proof. Having tinted windows definitely reduces the greenhouse effect. I decided against producing the Frankenstein graphic although I thought it looked killer!

My BJ60 has been painted black for years. I painted my roof white since I do not have air conditioning, plus I added a grey stripe for aesthetics.

Here are the rocker panels I had made up. They are made from 18 gauge galvanized steel. I found a guy with a 12' CNC metal brake (sweet indeed). The bottom bend is to be trimmed off. I made them 60" but I only needed 53".
