Ric Raven

Artist, writer, drafter, drummer, dreamer. Interested in UFOs, Alien abductions,
Near death experiences, and many other weird, strange and other-worldy things. Collector of watches, computers, electronic gadgetry, scale model cars and trains and other stuff. Been a gearhead since I was very young. Among the vehicles I have owned and loved are: a screamin' Pontiac Catilina convertible, a Mustang fastback 2+2, AMC Gremlin-X, Jeep Wrangler, and one of the vehicles I am most proud of- a very rare 1965 Toyota FJ-45 wagon. This particular truck was called a "troop carrier". Only about 600 of those came into the country, they wee intended for import to Austrailia and Africa. I owned it when I lived in Colorado. When I moved to Maryland, we lived about 100 feet from the Chesapeake Bay, and the salt air just ate it to death. I finally sold it to a shop in New York that wanted to do a frame-off restoration, so it STILL lives! I now have my new love: a 2008 FJ Cruiser with TRD performance/suspension package and most of the other upgrades that were available that model year including front brush guard, skid plates, sub-woofer and roof rack. I will have her for the rest of my life. I got her as a gift, and the reason why is a whole 'nuther story. Suffice it to say, I am interested in all things Cruiser!! :rimshot:
