Fully agree its subjective but I think Toyota has learned/advanced alot since the 200 came out. Toyota has been behind the curve on seat comfort and is finally catching up now in some vehicles is what I feel.
You can see the seating position is one of the main benefits of this vehicle. After Toyota destroyed my back they invented the car for enjoyable, fun driving experience. Only issue is its a bit slow.
I have never been a pickup guy even though I find them aesthetically appealing. Either SUV or van and either I am getting old or just tired of the extra heft when traveling so I am contemplating moving from SUV to compact CUV. Something that...
Consider the Ford F150 PowerBoost. Yeah it is a Ford and reliability sucks. But my Ford must have been made on a Wednesday…problem free so far. Anyways, it gets 23 mpg city and highway on REGULAR gas. It weighs as much as LC200. 0-60 in 5.4...
I felt the same way until I sat inside a new UX300h last week. It felt like heaven, my body started to relax just sitting first few moments. My suspicion is Lexus has figured this out finally but selectively choosing where to put it. I don't...
Ok, i have waited until over 6 months of ownership of my Ford to give opinion.
Bottom line, Toyota needs to rethink their driver’s seat and the whole driving position.
I have driven a 4runner, LC, GX, and LX. They all are great vehicles. But...
When I was hunting for some AT tires for my 4Runner, I remember a fairly large thread of KO2 hate on the T4R.org forum. The consensus among the haters was that wet traction sucks in a potentially terrifying way about 20k miles in. It's a common...
How was the ride of the Michelins, Ive been thinking to switch to 285/70/17 michelins. Ride is pretty stiff on my back after 8 years and 4 sets of KO2s.
I kept stock spring for comfort. I did upgrade both front and rears with Icon coilovers. The rears had a remarkable difference, fronts not soo much in my opinion. It improved handling greatly and ride felt softer but I put more on tires now...
I am the OP: My 100 became too much of a headache to maintain, the 200 is the opposite closing in at 300k miles with little maintenance. I did prefer driving dynamics and looks of the 100 over 200. I tried being a 100 purist as long as...
Different Thread. It was a new version of KO2 that was made of slightly harder rubber and is near indestructible. Will not wear down BUT loses some snow/rain performance slightly due to rubber being harder. Over 110K miles on mine and still...
Will there be a DT version? I have gotten used to not replacing tires every 40k miles. MY DT's are 9/10 after 100k+ miles as checked by pep boys during alignment.
It went away today after installing new gas cap (ridicously tight), resetting codes and stopping from pumping gas while car on for 1-2 weeks. My question is will I need to keep car off or can I go back to my original method of leaving car...
I keep typing up a post and then deleting it. I’ll put on my flame suit and see if I can manage to post this one.
I was also in the pursuit of ultimate comfort and dreamed of my rig floating over washboard roads and ignoring speed bumps as I...
If you want ceiling height, you're stuck with the big vans, Transit, Sprinter, Nissan NV, Promaster.
I don't see what the Microbus offers that a standard minivan doesn't. Honestly an AWD Sienna would probably go more places trouble free, and...
How would you compare Blisteins/Kings to the icons in terms of comfort? When I originally bought my icons 5 years ago I regretted not buying Kings from Ben at Filthy and having them custom valved, I think he quoted $7k vs $2k icon 2.5s cdvs ran...
Nowhere near you, but my .02 anyways...If you're going to be paying retail for a set of KINGS, get them with adjusters at minimum up front and have them set up (valved) by Ben at Filthy Motorsports or Accutune for your intended purpose, it is...
I have looked into it ended up buying both a ford e350 and a ford e350 cutaway party bus. The e350 7.3L was nice before it got rusty, it was too short for my taste. I want something 5'+ from roof to floor this time, preferably 5'9" inside...
I love my Land Cruiser but as I have gotten older I find myself wanting an over built conversion van. I wish Toyota made a land cruiser van. I also considered cybertruck but after 5 years lost interest. Its a pretty car but I want something...
Do you like jumping? When I first got them 100k miles ago, I would try to hit everything at speed. Try to get in the air as high as I could. Not doing that as much now. I ran them at 0.
