I'm impressed with this little thing. Its definitely light weight compared to the 80's I've been working on but it seems to just keep going. I gotta say its a notch simpler than the 1fz's too. Way fewer vacuum lines running around and the engine bay is just much cleaner.
random update:
Got it all baselined and sorted for now. Had no history what so ever and rad will filled with rustyness. Had a little toruble passing smog, but did it's 3rd oil change in 5k miles, and quickly went to smog and it passed. Gotta say Im real happy with this thing so far. I'm gonna...
Everything rides pretty straight. Took it for a spin to la and back to sf. It Flew down hwy 5 and through the grapevine. Not a single hiccup.
Straightened the bed out by shimming the rear up. Now it looks more normal.
thanks for the advise about the crab walking. I'll check it out this week and see if its doing it. Even so, I'm only gonna focus on this things mechanical reliability rather than its structure (cooling system, fluids etc...)
