I spoke with the manager at CAH last night and he said they do take reservations (contrary to what the young lady on the phone told me) and they have put us on their calendar for the 1st Wed of every month. He said they are happy to accommodate. This should make things much easier moving forward.
I updated the original post, but wanted to make sure everyone saw that we will be meeting at Carolina Ale House in Cary now. Track is entirely booked :confused:
@GLTHFJ60 @White Sheep @Fort Knox @Hokie LX @jamesurq @jimsmith1370
Good catch @jimsmith1370. That must have been added since last Monday. I will call them today to confirm, but it looks like we might have to meet at Ale House.
UPDATE: Rush Hour managed to get entirely booked, so we are going with the backup plan and meeting at Carolina Ale House in Cary.
Carolina Ale House @ 7pm
2240 Walnut St, Cary, NC 27518
I need to go through my garage to get a full inventory of what I want to get rid of, but I have a few items I know of off the top of my head.
Coleman Cascade 3-in-1 Camping Stove (only used 2x) $120
Tembo Tusk Skottle (*legs are not adjustable) $200 - @fj40alex has first right of refusal...
I just spoke w/ Ash. He said it was the General Manager's truck. His wife drove it until she got tired of it and then another Sales Manager bought it. Truck has been serviced at Hendrick since new. Sounds like a solid vehicle.
I can put you in touch with the sales manager that is a diehard Land Cruiser guy. I think he owns over 5. His name is Ash Bhattarai. I think he would be straight up with you based on my experience with him. Good dude.
I did warn him how much of a PITA they will be. I still need to do a lot of cutting if I want to truck to be more functional offroad. Ironically, I recommended he go with 35s for practicality.
