Thank you both! that's exactly it...my radiator has the cap on the opposite side; makes me wonder if someone replaced it at some point and the new one is narrower or has the hose lower. Because I can just get one finger between the hose and pulley.
could someone post a picture of their 3FE's upper radiator hose to air pump pulley clearance for me?
google hasn't found a good angle of that for me yet.
my upper radiator hose seems to rub on the pulley and belt WAY too much...since I've replaced the hose 3 times in the last year due to a...
I have a set of 5 FZJ80 16x8 wheels I'd like to part with. One still has a decent tire mounted on it (265/70R16), other 4 have no tires. I may have 3 center caps, but they were painted at some point. Wheels are not new and have some scratches and are dirty. I can get pictures up this weekend.

I've read the pre-OBD2 statement about AWD vehicles requiring yearly emissions as well; my confusion only stems from all previous tests being every 2 years...even when I didn't renew for 2 years at a time. Not that it's a big deal, just an annoyance that I have to make time to go get it tested...
I just got my license renewal notice for my 91 FJ80, it indicated that I need to go through emissions testing again this year...I just had it tested last year. I looked back at all my previous tests and they were every 2 years.
Did something change that now requires me to test every year?
I bought one for my 91 3FE when I thought mine was leaking; found mine was OK and still have the brand new one, unboxed but unused. PM me if you're interested.
unless I'm misreading something on their website, those batteries (PC680) are only 170 CCA each, and there are 4 setup in 2 pairs. I'd be intested to know more about that vehicle's setup and purpose for the battery setup that way.
As long as the wall mount bracket comes along for the ride, I'll take the microwave. Could meet you at CBT any evening after 630 or on a saturday if convenient.

if that link doesn't work, go to Nissan's careers site, look for openings in Stanfield, AZ...it's the proving grounds. But that is a fresh job posting, and Nissan is a pretty great place...
I've got a little oil drip every now and then, should I bring my own oil dry or a piece of cardboard to put down? or will my custom body work relegate me to a back corner anyway? :hillbilly:
I might take you up on that; taking it down to see John (inkpot) Saturday and get his opinion.
I have nothing to do with him selling it, he just asked me to take care of it while he's in Asia. Though since the new owner is his neighbor, I'm pretty sure they've discussed it.
