    Roll over question

Good point on the oil in the piston. I did think that I had more valve noise at idle than usual afterwards. How does one get the oil out if there is any? Just cylce it for a while?

    Roll over question

Can anyone point me to a thread or two about what to check before trying to start my '77 FJ40 after a roll over? It sat on its side for about 2 hours before being righted and I don't want to screw it up. The oil level is fine and it all looks like it should start but..... Thanks for...

    '78 Cali - Spaghetti routing...

Does anyone know what missing the Blue VTV valve in the above pics would do to my engine performance? Thank you for the input I replaced all the hoses, well almost all as I bought 21 feet (all they had) and still was short! I cut the ends off of a couple old ones and used them instead for just a couple shorter sections. I was able to bring up the vacuum to 16 at idle but it moves a small...

    wiring nightmare

Yellow wire Hi, I own a 77 FJ40 that has points and the ignitor. It took me 3 weeks to find why I had no spark and in the end after replacing the coil, coil wire and banging my head a few times not wanting to f** with the points, the points themselves had a hairline crack in the spring band...
