I figured I would start a build thread since I recently bought my 2018 LX570 and am starting to accumulate parts. The truck is Nebula Grey Pearl which is where the name Lead Sled comes from, in addition to it being a very dense vehicle being...
Looking for a heavy duty car cover. My truck will be sitting in storage indoors and i'd like to have it covered.
I have a Victory 4x4 roof rack and ditch lights on my hood.
Anyone make covers that would have extra space for my accessories...
alot of good tech in this thread.
Looks like the first step in modding my 2017 LX570 is adding 275/60/20s to my factory 20s and going from there.
So glad that theres space underneath for a full size spare. After going to 33s on our 2016 GX...
My 275 60 r20 (not light truck-it was euro spec I think, similar to passenger rated) seemed fine to me because I was technically able to run a reasonable tire pressure comparable to oem…so basically I had oem tire pressure (squishiness) with more...
I think the stock 20inch lexus wheels are attractive and distinctive vs the 21 inch wheel. add some BFG's and it transforms the truck. Damn, now I kinda want em for my 15.
295/60r20

I would highly recommend a 295/55R20. This is practically equivalent in overall dimensional specs to a once offered TRD size...
25 offset w 17” method 316 @ $250 each and 24 lbs with p285 70 r17 falken wildpeaks seems to be the best/easiest/cheapest aftermarket replacement. And run a used 275 60 r20 tire on your 20” tucked under the vehicle as a spare tire.
You can run...
Tanks for the info!
I understood about the spare location having plenty of space. Good to know about the LRA tank.
Was debating staying with 20s or going down to 17/18s. Want to ensure that there will be no rubbing in daily use with whatever...
any issues with fitting 275/60/20 or 302/55/20 on factory 20" wheels? Any rubbing, etc that would need to be massaged? will I be able to use the EZ exit function of the suspension for when my wife drives truck and move around a parking lot in low...
I just had the LRA 12.5 gal aux tank installed in my 2016 LX. I didn’t install it myself because I actually can’t even buy it directly from the distributor since they won’t ship it to a CA address. Luckily a very reputable local shop here was...
Here is a Video a guy did, fast forward the video to the 1.40 seconds part
I'll send a PM as there are kits to suits the Electric rear door and Non-electric rear door.
It’s extremely easy. My 12 year old did it Her self (with my guidance) last year at 60k miles on my ‘13 LX. Here is a video, it’s not perfect but gives you the idea of the process
Im curious if my 2017 LX570 uses the same accumulator part numbers as the earlier 2008-14 trucks in this thread
