So does anyone have coastal off road sliders on their 80 series with CC's, photos please?? I just emailed coastal inquiring about the CC's bracket, we will see what they say if they respond. Why does the 80 series have 2 CC's, seems like I could modify and put one long slim one, anyone know...
I am still looking looking and I found the coastal off road weld together kits for virtually 1/2 price of other sliders, PLUS I save on shipping. I have welding experience so it seems like a no brainer but just checking for any opinions?
I looked at the white knuckle and like those how they fit up close to the rocker panels, I'd like to see some up close and personal, I'll have to try to find someone in Colorado Springs with some installed.
These look good and they have a lot of info on their website. I don't know what inexpensive means to you but $1300 plus tax isn't inexpensive to me. Am I missing something or just cheap :)
I swapped both my axles and have the original rear complete and front only 3rd member, the housing I have is bent and not alignable but still available. I have some original sway bars also, I put adjustable ones on to center/align wheels.
I want to make the right decision on rock sliders for my rig, I want to spend the least possible and I do have some welding and fabrication experience so I'm open to a used set OR I'm considering the kit from Coastal Offroad that I would need to weld together. I'm in Colorado Springs CO in case...
Yeah, I know they hang a little low but so will my sliders whenever I get them built, when I can find some inexpensive tubular metal or ANY used sliders to modify for my cruiser. Cutting and welding works but you still have the axle approx. 1/2" to 3/4" back, I'll keep my brackets until they...
