Speaker rebuild I have a 2001, both fronts, surrounds were toast. Pulled them and took them to Northwestern Speaker in Smyrna Ga. $80.00 to rebuild both. They sound great. I did not want to spend much and the 2 ohm replacement was nowhere to be found. I love the JBL's.

old guy with new meat question. are the mid 1980 manual transmissions fairly bullet proof? i have read a few posts about the cost of automatic rebuilds/replacement and it's a scary thought. i have driven an 1988 with auto but never a stick. what's the story? thanks.PF
