I read somewhere that the lift on those is fairly extreme and requires beefier valve springs to keep from causing damage.. Downey's cam is a re-grind of a factory cam if I remember correctly. You may want to look at RV grind cams that use a factory billet.. these put less strain on the valvetrain.

Ive got a bosch gear reduction starter in mine and love it. Waay more torque. You can actually drive the truck out of precarious stalled situations with the starter. Mike
