A frame mounted roll cage is a must for saftey, question is how? Do I cut holes in the new tub, and find a way to seal aaround the bars. this would allow the tub to flex. Or use flange plates on either side of the body panels. What is the best answer, anyone? ???
I'm told the 81 diffs are stronger,the gears don't matter for I'm going with 4:88. the shackle rev. is done, also the saginaw steering box mounts .SOAis next after finding dif, my 67's have the ball joints no good. If the suspension is different the spring perches have to be moved anyway.I hope...
I just run out and checked mine. I pulled mine off to do the tube. Mine is a 67 the boards are stock they are 33.5", about 10" ahead of the wheel well and 6" ahead of the back of the door. :D

I have a 67 3 spd, it is 8.5 inchs. That is for the bell housing to t-case. The t-case is 9.5 inchs from trany to the drive shaft flang, incase you need to know.
I'm about to start my t-case tare down. The driven gear in the pto is pretty beat up any takers on replacment parts? Also any ideas on arebuild manual for the t0-case? I have a GRB np203 for the front of the 3spd case will it be strong enouph?
