Well, during the rebuild of my rear calipers, we found out the piston had some pretty good wear so we decided to replace it. I’m getting a little tight on cash, so I opted to use raybestos pistons instead of oem.. the new one is
1/2 mm longer
Grove is 1 1/2 mm closer to the butt end

Which ARES system did you use? I see a one liter and a 2 liter one. Also- did you need another adapter to attach the unit to the reservoir tank? Thanks in advance!
Good luck and keep us posted. Im following as I will be doing new pads, rotors, extended slee lines, new master cylinder and rebuilding calipers in the coming weeks. I have soft pedal, dirty fluid and a constant ABS light on. Hoping to fix that.
Just finished up and I’m seeing this now We pulled a vacuum for 45 mins and let it sit for 45 mins. Filled it up and it’s working great. It’s 81 degrees and humid af. Getting 51 degrees at the vent.
Update: pulled and checked all connections and replaced orings. Oring at expansion valve was cut and leaking. Pulling a vacuum now and will update again later
