I did put an O2 bung in the down pipe just south of the manifold. Just curious, how does the extra restriction of the cat effect how rich or lean? Does it effect how the O2 sensor reads? Unless it more to do with the carbon emissions

I actually chose the sniper route and I just got it installed and running well. There were a few hiccups but I got them ironed out. Over all I'm pleased and it runs better than it has in YEARS!!!. I still have a few things to fit and re route but it's definitely coming together.

Finally got it going good now. It is going into learning mode and idling smooth. It's maintaining vac at 15-18 hg. Now on to finishing the exhaust and putting the passenger seat in and she will be ready for a test drive!

Exhaust down pipe revision #2 and the far superior version in my opinion. It's stronger and the O2 sensor is placed properly this time. I am going to heat wrap this section of the exhaust if not for heat control, for sound reduction. Any recommendations on brand for this? Version 1 I did...
