Got the gauges wired up! Now just need to finish the turbo install and get this thing boosting. Also finished up the exhaust. Still need to heat wrap it once it’s tested for leaks.
Hey all, not sure how much traffic the small business section in the classifieds gets but we just launched a cool new light mounting option for solid axle cruisers. The Cruiser Cult and our new Adaptive Light Brackets for solid axle cruisers -...
Made up some plates and did an EGR delete this afternoon. All that's left to do is add a ground strap and do a little clean up. Although you can't see them in the last pic, I did connect the hoses on the vacuum switching valves.
Returned from the first "long" trip since the HG job. About 650 miles total down to the Texas Hill Country and back to Dallas, providing some post-op care for my father-in-law after his heart surgery. It was a beautiful time to be in the Hill...
Whiteknuckle not in the running? Asking because I am in that same eval mode, and keep coming back to Whiteknuckle in terms of value, style and wanting a non-weld install.
Exercising the factory lockers on a rare patch of dirt in LA... right next to an LAX runway. One of the busiest airports on the planet. @midfat for the W.

Decided the play dress up and ditch the side steps. Not sure how long it will last with two little ones getting up and down, but I like the way it looks.
Welded up my down pipe for the turbo. Don’t judge the welds it’s literally my second time welding and first time welding thin exhaust. Only blew through one time and was able to recover. I’m a fan of DIY and this was worth the effort big learning...
Spent like 2 hrs underneath her inspecting and torquing key nuts-n-bolts after 3rs of washboard driving last weekend. Wits-End nut huggers provided peace of mind. All dialed in….ready for whatever is next.

Mounting clamps are better on the Bowfin but they were recently updated on the Prinsu. I was torn between the 2 but at the time I was able to get the Prinsu for $300 less so that settled that. 😁
I was leaning towards the Slee ( I have Slee rear swing out and short-bus bumpers) but I really didn’t want to weld on brackets, so went with the WKOR sliders and really happy with them. I have 4Plus front and rear bumpers on my 40. All 3...
Had a noise from the front end, and on checking it out found this.....
So new rotors and pads.
Then found the tapped hole for the top caliper mounting bolt was stripped. M12 x 1.25 - nothing on the shelf so a new thread insert ordered for...
Starting organizing my part hoard. Impex delivery came today. Got a 105 shaft steering box for $1074. 150kg total of parts shipped for ~$300. Pretty wild that I spent about half compared to even amayama or partsouq. Was in the USA in 2 days but...
