It's an old car :) Limped it home Sat on a dying fuel pump. Great having an open vehicle again, last was a CJ7 when I lived in the Keys. Last Roadster was an Austin Healy Sprite back in 83.

We too Babs out for a shake down cruise last night, she ran well. Fixed the AC this morning with a few other issues, still no radio :( Love this car!

Today was the first time I've seen the new Defender in the wild. Saw a shorty when we had to go to Cary Autopark to pick up my wife's car, then.... I went over to my Harris-Teeter, lo and behold there was a LWB in the lot. It was fitted with all...

Nice looking truck! Like the hub caps. "Going through Old Fort on 40 was an effort." I know a cure for that :)

Keep the faith Ramon. If you told me a couple years ago that I'd be taking on a shop build like this 380 I'd have thought you were crazy. Yet here I am doing all the ground work for one of the largest business investments I have ever made. Odd...

I'd be happy to put one in a LC for you Ramon! It's just money right? :) I am already at about $65-70K all in on the 380 build. That is more than enough on a shop spec build.

What you said makes sense regarding the rotors, thank you. These are installed as per manufacturers directions. The direction of the inner vanes dictates the rotation over the direction of the slots.

That looks like a beauty! Love older Mercs. Actually built tough and didn't have too much fancy equipment to break down

I've just done some preliminary reading so far. Our radio, heat/AC blower, horn, hazards are not working currently. So I figured that I am pulling all out related to motor, trans, gauges and the rest are basic electrical circuits. So on a...

Indeed Jon, we have found everything that we already know we need. Even a complete bumper and valance replacement "it" that gets rid of the HUGE rubber sides on the American version. The European version is sleek, thin chrome. Cheap it is not...

Right there with you buddy. It's sitting right outside the window in front of my desk. Turns out that parts for a 30+ year old Mercedes are far more plentiful than a 30+ year old Land Cruiser. Seems that the folks at Mercedes believe that the...
