I did 240rwhp and 744rwnm on 35s. With 35psi at 1800rpm with peak torque and power before 2000rpm. Afrs at 22.1. With the bowl work you want to get as much fuel in as 15 to 16.1 then lean it off hard and that really helps with smoke.
The only down side i have found is they love a good smoke...
Pual st riverina did my head work and it really picks up to torque and stops the dt's chocking ar 250hp. Also did a little piston work when she was open

Yer I had high egts and high cruise boost. My wastegate is set to 25psi my gauge showed 28 but the dyno showed 23psi. I don't know how many kms my pump had done but it also had issues with the idle hunting and would stall on hills when out wheeling.

I have done a bit of tuning on my 1hdt and down a dyno run before the pump is sent away for a rebuild. Turns out the pump acts like it's warn or internal timing is shot. Boost comes on strong but still smoky at 24.1
I plan on running 35 psi. I need a bit of air reserve for smoke control. A machined and flowed head and modified Piston bowls brings plenty of low down but likes to smoke abit lol
